School Setup
Setup your school how you want it, and how you need to.
Setup List Menu Item
Although sample data is preloaded in the Setup List, it is recommended that you review each item to ensure the values align with your school’s specific needs.
School Info
Enter your school’s basic information and select your preferred time clock and grading settings. For the time clock, choose either straight time (no rounding) or the ¼-hour system, which rounds clock-in and clock-out times to the nearest quarter hour. For grading, select either a checkbox system or a Likert scale, and define the number of scale options you want displayed on the grade entry form. To display a student’s Hours to Date on the time clock, enable the “Show Hours to Date” option.
Programs
Enter the list of programs. This list will be used throughout the software to identify each student’s program and to filter reports accordingly. Top section of this form controls time clock settings, while the bottom section is used to configure program benchmarks.
System Messages
If you want a message to show each time a student or faculty logs onto the software use this form to create a personalized message.
Clinical Competency Types
These values appear in the drop down list on the Clinical Competency Grade Entry screen. Examples: Pediatric, Trauma, Surgical
When adding a new Competency Type

Name the Competency
-
Check the box, depending on if you want it to appear on reports or not

Click Add
Modifying Existing
Competency Types

Select a competency to modify

Enter the new name

Choose whether it appears on reports

Click Save Changes or Cancel Changes.
When adding a new Competency Category

Enter the category name
-
Select its program
-
Click Add Category
Used in the Grade Entry screen.
Examples: Abdomen, Chest, and Thorax

Create NEW Competencies

Enter the competency name

Choose required status

Set the sort order

Mark inactive if needed

Then click Add
Enter the list of tasks associated with the competency. Competency tasks appear in the clinical grade entry form. You can also track benchmarks on comptecny tasks
Add Instructors
Enter the list of Instructors who will evaluate students. This list will appear in the clinical grade entry form.
Hospitals and Clinics
Setup your list of clinical/hospital sites. This list will appear in the clinical grade entry form and will be used by the student when clocking in and out using the timeclock.
